I just started seeing Michael a few weeks ago after hearing good things from some athlete friends. I have been struggling with shoulder and back pain/knots for the last couple years off and on. I saw him ONCE for a recurring shoulder issue, and he diagnosed and fixed it THAT day. He showed me what I could do on my own to prevent recurrence. In a week, I am breaking records doing exercises that I could not do 100% 2 weeks prior. He diagnosed and treated a back pain I had been having that I thought was going to prevent me from doing certain things for a long period. Your only regret about seeing Dr. Heitholt is that you didn't see him sooner! Undoubtedly, he is extremely, extremely effective with his treatments. His patience, professionalism and easygoing nature definitely make him stand out. I incurred an unexpected shoulder injury at my CrossFit box, and with all of his treatments and recommendations, Dr. Heitholt helped get me back to normal. I can function normally again and without pain; he is amazing! I cannot speak more highly of any other provider.

The professionalism and honesty in the evaluation and subsequent treatment of my injuries was second to none. I had gone to chiropractors, had dry needling performed and none of it worked. I've dealt with neck/shoulder issues since I was 16 and it wasn't until recently when my exercise habits exacerbated those issues and one of my coaches suggested Dr. Heitholt. I was amazed at the increase in my range of motion after just one appointment as well as the huge decrease in (or rather, disappearance of) pain after a handful of appointments.

I have been dealing with knee pain for quite some time now and have went to many different doctors/chiropractors to fix the problem. Nothing seemed to work for me and it was putting a hold on my training. After going to see Michael at Integrative Spine and Sport 3 times, i was able to get back to my original routine and add even more volume to my workouts with little to no pain. Tried to rehab a shoulder on my own for months with no success, then finally stopped being stubborn and went to see Dr. Heitholt. After three sessions I am pain free and back to working out. Dr. Heitholt is easy going, professional, and cares about his clients.

Five stars is not enough. How do you describe the reality of going from chronic lower back pain for over 10 years to pain-free and full mobility in over two weeks? This is what has happened since I started working with Dr Heitholt. Simply amazing! The difference after one treatment was startling...and after just 3 follow-up treatments, I feel like a new man. Keep in mind, I had an MRI 18 months ago that indicated the following - "lower back has disc degeneration, osteoarthritis and a bulging disc....that is combining to put some pressure on nerves....plus a little bit of vertebral slide (spondylosisa)" On top of this, he took a look at my left foot which started experiencing "plantar fasciitis" and "Morton's neuroma" type pain. After one treatment, that is gone too. "

I can't believe I've lived with lower back problems for so many years before getting treatment from Dr Heitholt, DC. I used to wake up every morning so stiff in my lower back that I had trouble walking. Every day began with 4 ibuprofen and a heating pad just to take the edge off. I'd have to repeat this mid-day, and again at night to sleep. After just 3 or 4 treatments, I was noticing a big improvement. Three months in and it's almost like I never had a bad back! He's also given me some exercises to strengthen my core. I really appreciate his easy going manner. He's very easy to talk to and really listens. He doesn't use a lot of gimmicky machines or do any "cracking or popping." Now I can garden with ease and bending down doesn't cause me to wince in pain. I can also get on the floor and play with my grandchildren!! I highly recommend him!

Extremely happy with the service and results from only a couple treatments!! Took my 15 year daughter for a sports related injury we were worried would sideline her for a few weeks. A full assessment was done and with just one treatment he was able to get her quad feeling so much better. I highly recommend Integrative Spine and Sport! I am very thankful for Dr. Michael Heitholt, DC. I was training for the mini-marathon and was experiencing some knee pain that was interrupting my training UNTIL I began seeing Dr. Heitholt. If you are an active person who does not enjoy having to sit on the sidelines and heal before you can get back in the game, this is the place for you. I never had to take time off and I am now a "finisher." To-Do list item is checked with 13.1 in the books! Thank you Dr. Heitholt.
